- TOPKAPI PALACE: The grand palace of Ottoman sultans from the 15th to 19th centuries, Topkapi Palace is a treasure trove of history and luxury. Explore its exquisite collection of precious gems, jewelry, royal thrones, and costumes worn by the sultans and their families. Visit the Chamber of Sacred Relics, which houses items of great historical and religious significance. (Topkapi Palace is closed on Tuesdays.)
- HAGIA IRENE CHURCH: Built in the 4th century, Hagia Irene Church stands as one of Istanbul‘s oldest structures. Its name means “Holy Peace” in Greek. After the Ottoman conquest, it became part of the Topkapi Palace grounds but retained its original architecture. Discover its unique blend of Byzantine and Ottoman influences. (Hagia Irene Church is closed on Tuesdays.)
- BLUE MOSQUE: Also known as Sultan Ahmed Mosque, the Blue Mosque is an architectural masterpiece from the early 17th century. Famous for its six minarets and stunning interior adorned with over 20,000 hand-painted blue Iznik tiles, it remains a functioning place of worship and a symbol of Istanbul‘s rich Islamic heritage. Visitors can admire its harmonious blend of Ottoman and Byzantine architectural elements while enjoying the serene ambiance of this iconic landmark. (The Blue Mosque is closed during prayer times and Friday noon prayers.)
Tour End Point: The tour concludes at Hagia Irene Church. Return transfers to the hotel are not included.
