- HIPPODROME: The heart of Byzantine-era sports and public events, featuring its four iconic monuments: the German Fountain of Wilhelm II, the Egyptian Obelisk, the Serpentine Column, and the Walled Obelisk.
- THE BLUE MOSQUE: Known for its stunning Iznik tiles, this mosque is a masterpiece of Ottoman architecture. (Visit not possible on Friday due to Friday prayers.)
- THE HAGIA SOPHIA GRAND MOSQUE: Originally built by Emperor Constantine the Great in the 4th century and later rebuilt by Justinian in the 6th century, this architectural wonder stands as a testament to Istanbul‘s rich history. (Visit not possible on Friday due to Friday prayers.)
- GRAND COVERED BAZAAR: A maze of over 4,000 shops offering Turkish arts and crafts, from intricately painted ceramic plates to finely crafted carpets, copperware, and traditional jewelry. (Grand Bazaar is closed on Sundays and replaced with the Arasta Bazaar.)
